About us
We want to and will make it easy for schools to keep their staff, pupils, parents, partners, other stake-holders and wider community informed, updated and engaged.

Now, by merely typing in the text you can do it too!

It's so easy even 7 year old children can do it. If you are able to move a mouse, click a few buttons and string a few sentences together you can maintain a cutting edge site.

We'll give you all the training you'll need, support you on the phone or with email, all to make sure you get the best out of your investment.

Our killer features are:
Superb content management and blog software. Excellent Google optimisation.
An email to weblog interface, making updating your school blog a doddle.
Top draw support and feedback.

Rules

Respect other members
Never write anything that is rude or insulting.
If you can't think of something nice to say about someone, then don't say anything at all.
Don't use a Walsall School Weblog for 'chatting up' other members.

Keep your family safe
Never give out any personal details.
Don't give your home email, home address, messenger address or telephone number to anyone.
Keep your passwords safe. Don't give them to anyone.
If you write about your family or friends, ask for their permission before you send it in.
Don't put links to other websites because they might not be safe sites.

Respect the copyright code
When someone draws or paints or creates something they put a lot of time and effort into it. If someone else comes along and just takes it, it isn't fair. That's why we have copyright. You should always respect the wishes of the person that creates something and if they don't want you to take it, you mustn't do it.
Here at Walsall School Weblogs, we like to share things with other bloggers but we will always respect copyright if asked to do so.
So, if someone asks you to take down some writing or picture that you haven't made yourself you should remove it immediately.

What happens if you break the rules?
The mediators and your teacher will see what you write. If you do anything wrong, they will either:

  • Ask you to put it right
  • Change it for you
  • Delete it
  • Ban you from the blogs
Anyone who keeps breaking the rules will be removed from the blogs.

What if someone sends something bad to me?
Send a message to one of the mediators or your teacher straight away. They will sort it out for you. >
